New to TGS?

At TGS, brows are shaped, coloured and styled to suit your face, your natural growth and the level of maintenance that actually works for your lifestyle. Because of this, standalone brow wax and tint appointments aren't available for first visits — your first appointment is always designed to give us enough time to get everything right.

For a full brow transformation, book Brow Lamination.

For brow wax and colour without lamination, the Brow Design Package is your starting point — it includes a brow wax and tint alongside a lash tint or lip wax and an express facial, giving you a complete, fresh result from your very first visit. If you're mainly after a lash lift and want your brows tidied at the same time, the Lash Lift Package is the better fit.

Brow FAQs

I’m new. What brow service should I book?

If you’re new to TGS and want a full brow transformation, please book Brow Lamination (New Client).

If you’ve recently had brow lamination elsewhere and only need a maintenance refresh, please book Brow Lamination Maintenance (New Client) so there’s enough time for a consultation, mapping and colour match.

If you’re wanting brow shaping and colour without lamination, please book the Brow Design Package or Lash Lift Package, as brow wax and colour services are included within those package appointments.

Standalone brow wax, tint or tidy appointments are not available for new clients.

Do you offer standalone brow wax and tint appointments?

Not for new clients.

At TGS, brow waxing and colour services are offered within selected packages, such as the Brow Design Package or Lash Lift Package, or as add-ons for existing clients as part of their personalised treatment plan.

If you’re new and want a brow-only appointment, please book Brow Lamination, or Brow Lamination Maintenance if your brows have recently been laminated elsewhere.

What’s the difference between Brow Lamination and Brow Lamination Maintenance?

Brow Lamination is the full transformation. It includes the lamination process to smooth, lift and redirect the brow hairs, followed by shaping, waxing, trimming and colour for a complete brow result.

Brow Lamination Maintenance is a refresh appointment designed for brows that have already been laminated recently. It does not include the full lamination process. Instead, it focuses on reshaping, colour, hydration, repair masks and brow health support to keep your brows looking polished between full lamination appointments.

If you’re new to TGS but have recently had brow lamination elsewhere, please book the New Client Brow Lamination Maintenance option so there’s enough time for a consultation, mapping and colour match.

How long does Brow Lamination last?

Brow Lamination usually lasts around 4–6 weeks, depending on your hair growth, skin type, aftercare and how your brows naturally sit.

Most clients book full Brow Lamination every 6–8 weeks, with a maintenance appointment in between if needed.

Is Brow Lamination suitable for everyone?

Brow Lamination is best suited to brows that need more structure, smoothing or direction. It can be great for downward-growing hairs, unruly brows, uneven shape, or clients wanting a fuller-looking finish.

It may not be suitable if your brows are very sparse, damaged, fragile, recently bleached, or if the skin around your brows is irritated or compromised.

Can I have Brow Lamination if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

Brow Lamination may not be suitable for every pregnancy or breastfeeding client, as hormonal changes can affect skin sensitivity and how the brows respond to the treatment.

Please let me know if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding before booking so I can guide you toward the safest and most suitable option.

Do I need a patch test?

A patch test is recommended if you have sensitive skin, known allergies, previous reactions to tint, dye, lamination, waxing, or if you’re trying a brow colour service for the first time.

If you’re unsure, it’s always better to patch test first.

Can I have my brows waxed if I use retinol or active skincare?

It depends where and how often you’re using it.

If you use retinol, Vitamin A, AHAs, BHAs, prescription actives or strong exfoliants near your brows, waxing may not be suitable as the skin can become more fragile and prone to lifting. Please stop active skincare around the brow area before your appointment and let me know what you’re using.

What should I do before my brow appointment?

Arrive with clean brows if possible, and avoid fake tan, exfoliating products, retinol, strong actives or freshly irritated skin around the brow area before your appointment.

If you’re hoping to reshape your brows, avoid tweezing or trimming them beforehand so I have as much natural growth to work with as possible.

What should I do after my brow appointment?

Keep the brow area clean, calm and protected.

For Brow Lamination, avoid water, steam, sweating, makeup, oils and strong skincare around the brows for the first 24 hours. For waxing and colour services, avoid heat, sun exposure, exfoliants and makeup around the area while the skin settles.

How often should I book my brows?

For Brow Lamination, most clients rebook the full treatment every 6–8 weeks.

If your brows need a refresh in between, Brow Lamination Maintenance is usually booked around 4–5 weeks after lamination. For brow wax and colour maintenance, existing clients usually book every 3–5 weeks, depending on hair growth, colour fade and how polished they like their brows to look.

What’s the difference between tint and dye?

Tint gives a softer, more natural colour result and is great for subtle definition.

Dye creates a bolder, longer-lasting finish and can give more depth to the brows. I’ll choose the best option based on your brow hair, skin type, desired result and how soft or defined you want them to look.

Can you fix uneven brows?

In most cases, yes, but it may take time.

Brows are sisters, not twins, and natural growth patterns, previous shaping, gaps or sparse areas can affect what’s possible in one appointment. I’ll always work with your natural brows and create the most balanced shape possible without overworking them.

Can I buy brow aftercare or styling products?

Yes. If your brows would benefit from home care, I can recommend styling gels, pencils, conditioners, oils or serums to help maintain your result between appointments.

The goal is to keep your routine simple, realistic and suited to how much effort you actually want to put in each day.
