Skin Menu
At TGS, skin treatments are offered as either full facial experiences or express add-ons. Full Skin Treatments are your complete, robe-on facial experience with time to properly treat the skin and fully relax. Express Facial Add-Ons are shorter, targeted treatments added onto selected brow or lash appointments while processing time is already happening. Choose the option that feels closest to what your skin needs, and I’ll guide the rest.

Skin FAQs
I’m new to skin treatments. What should I book?
If you’re not sure where to start, choose the treatment that feels closest to what your skin needs right now. If your skin feels dull, dry, textured, congested or tired, a full skin treatment is usually the best place to begin.
If you’re still unsure, don’t stress. I’ll always assess your skin on the day and guide you toward what’s most suitable.
Do I need to add the Skin Consultation?
Yes, if this is your first skin appointment at TGS, please add the complimentary Skin Consultation (With Treatment) to your booking first, then choose your facial from the Skin category.
This consultation is free and completed during the same visit as your treatment. It gives us time to chat through your skin, current routine, goals, sensitivities, and any concerns before your facial begins, so your treatment can be tailored properly from the start.
For returning clients, you usually don’t need to add this unless your skin, health, routine, medication, pregnancy status, or goals have changed significantly.
What if I don’t know what my skin needs?
That’s very normal. You don’t need to arrive with the perfect treatment picked out.
Start with the result you’re hoping for, whether that’s smoother texture, more hydration, less congestion, a brighter glow, or a calmer skin barrier, and I’ll guide the rest.
What’s the difference between a full skin treatment and an express facial add-on?
Full Skin Treatments are your complete facial experience. You’ll have time to get cosy, relax properly, and receive a more in-depth treatment tailored to your skin.
Express Facial Add-Ons are shorter, targeted treatments added onto selected brow or lash appointments while processing time is already happening. They’re perfect for a quick skin boost, but they don’t replace the full facial experience.
Can I have a facial if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
Yes, you can. The Pregnancy Glow Facial is designed for pregnancy, breastfeeding and postpartum skin, using gentle, pregnancy-conscious products and techniques.
Some stronger treatments or active ingredients may not be suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, so your treatment will always be adjusted for safety and comfort.
Do I need to stop using active skincare before my treatment?
For most active skin treatments, yes. It’s best to stop using retinol, Vitamin A, AHAs, BHAs, exfoliants, strong peels, or prescription actives a few days before your appointment.
For stronger treatments, you may need a longer break from certain products. If you’re unsure, send through your current routine before your appointment.
What should I do before my skin treatment?
Arrive with clean skin if possible, and avoid exfoliating, tanning, waxing, strong actives, or excessive sun exposure before your appointment.
The goal is to come in with your skin calm, not freshly irritated or overworked.
What should I do after my skin treatment?
Keep your routine gentle, hydrating, and simple. Avoid strong actives, exfoliants, heat, saunas, tanning, and excessive sun exposure for the recommended period after your treatment.
SPF is non-negotiable, especially after exfoliation or peel-based treatments.
Will my skin go red after a facial?
A little redness can be normal, especially after exfoliation, peels, enzymes, extractions, or treatments that stimulate circulation.
For most clients, this settles within a few hours to a day. Stronger treatments may involve more redness, sensitivity, dryness, or light flaking depending on your skin and the treatment performed.
Will my skin peel?
Not every treatment causes visible peeling.
Some treatments focus on hydration, calming and glow, while others encourage deeper exfoliation and skin renewal. If peeling or flaking is expected, I’ll talk you through what’s normal and how to care for your skin afterwards.
Can I wear makeup after my facial?
Ideally, avoid makeup for at least 12 hours after your treatment so your skin has time to settle.
After active treatments or peels, it may be best to wait longer depending on your skin. I’ll always let you know what’s recommended before you leave.
How often should I book a skin treatment?
For general maintenance, every 4–6 weeks is a beautiful rhythm.
If we’re working on concerns like pigmentation, acne scarring, texture, congestion, or long-term skin correction, we may create a more structured treatment plan.
Which products do you use?
TGS skin treatments use professional DermaFix products, selected and customised based on your skin’s needs on the day.
Your treatment may include enzymes, peels, masks, serums, hydrators, barrier support and SPF depending on what your skin can safely tolerate and what result we’re working toward.
Can I buy skincare after my appointment?
Yes. If your skin needs home care support, I’ll recommend what makes sense for your routine, budget and goals.
You’ll never be pressured into buying a full shelf of products. The focus is always on building a routine that feels clear, realistic and actually useful.
